Pricefx Classic UI is no longer supported. It has been replaced by Pricefx Unity UI.
Quote Structure
A Quote consists of the following sections:
- Header Info
- Input Parameters
- Edit Header Text (provides formatting options for the header text)
- Products Overview
- Calculation Results
- Message (shows messages from the server)
- If needed, more sections can be added.
Quotes can be organized into folders.

- You can also define Quote Types to quickly create Quotes based on other than default calculation and workflow logics.

Quote States
Quotes can have the following states:
- Draft – Newly created quote.
- Offer – Approved draft.
- Lost – Offer marked as lost.
- Deal – Offered or approved quote can be converted into a deal. This creates automatically a Price Record.
- Partial Deal – Only selected quote items are converted to a deal. This functionality is available only in the Unity UI.
- Revoked – Revoked from a deal state.
Workflow states (if a workflow is assigned) are tracked separately from quote states. For details see Workflow Life Cycle.
