How to Create Quote

Aim of this article	Explains how to calculate a specific price (offer price) for one or more products based on the current pricing methodology (calculation logic). The price calculation may require entering further pricing input parameters (e.g. quantity, customer, region).

Steps:

Go to Quoting > Quotes.
In the left Quote Folders area choose a folder where a new quote will be stored. (Or create a new folder by clicking the Add icon at the bottom of the left area.)
Click the Add icon at the bottom of the Quotes area on the right side. Then a new Edit Quote area will open. By default the following sections are available (and other can be added):
- Header Info
- Input Parameters
- Edit Header Text (provides formatting options for the header text)
- Products Overview
- Calculation Results
- Message (shows messages from the server)
Enter all required information and choose an appropriate action from the buttons at the top (such as Save, Price, Submit).

You can also define Quote Types to quickly create Quotes based on other than default calculation and workflow logics.
