Rebates

The Rebates module helps you create and manage customer-specific agreements for all off-invoice conditions and enables you to calculate and simulate rebates.

The Rebates module allows you to:

Centrally define Rebate Types that will be used locally.
Make a forecast on paid out rebates based on previous performance.
Approve and manage customer-specific bonus and rebate agreements.
Calculate bonuses and rebates based on the actual performance.
Create rebate records which will be sent to other systems, e.g. for payouts.
Enhance analytics in the Analytics module with actual calculated rebates.

Before you start creating Rebate Agreements, you must have at least the following components ready:

Product and customer master in Price Setting
Transactional data (Datamart) in Analytics.
Rebate calculation logic – Logic where you define calculation of line items and of rebate records.
Rebate Type – Entity to define a particular condition that can be used in Rebate Agreements. For example, "Product Bonus".
Typically, also a workflow for rebate and payout approval.
Allocation and feeder logics for loading data into a Datamart.
