Rebate Agreements

Rebate Agreements are organized in folders.

Rebate Agreement Fields

The following sections are available:

  • Action buttons – Allows you perform operations with the agreement, such as: Recalculate Changes, Recalculate, Save, Submit or Configure. Details are below.
The first button '0 Editors' shows Notifications on Concurrent Editing
Recalculate Changes recalculates only the lines which changed since the last calculation, whereas Recalculate takes all of the lines, including the header logic.
  • Header Info – Summarizes the agreement header level attributes. Note especially the start and end dates and the calculation date (used when calculating the agreement).
The 'Link' option allows you to get a direct link to this rebate agreement (after you click Open, the rebate agreement opens in another window/tab and you can copy the direct link from the address bar).
  • Input Parameters – Determined by the logic associated with the rebate type of the line item selected in the line items section.
  • Edit Header Text – Allows you to change the header font type and size.
  • Overview – Lists line items of the agreement. Items can be organized in folders. No fields are editable in this section – any inputs or overrides need to be entered in the Calculation Results section. You can also:
    • Copy folders or line items (in a Draft status only).
    • Delete folders or line items.
    • Add new folders or line items.
    • Export the structure to XLS or PDF (if PDF publishing is enabled).
    • Switch between the tree and table view. In the table view you can perform mass add/edit/delete.
  • Messages – Shows information from the server.
  • Calculation Results – Shows a line item's calculated result and if the logic allows it, you can also override it here.

(info) When adding new columns using the Customize Attribute Extensions option, note that these columns (of JSON type) and also other fields (e.g. Label) can be changed only in the Draft status. This is different behavior than in Quotes or Agreements/Promotions where you can change values in these fields also in other states.

Rebate Agreements Actions

In the list of Rebate Agreements you have the following options:

  • Add  a new folder or new Rebate Agreement.
  • Switch between a simple and advanced filter  (for details see Filter Records).
  • Download to XLS, DOCX or PDF – Select an agreement and click one of the options:
    • Download XLS  icon to export data to Excel.
An Excel template can be predefined in the Administration. It can provide the agreement with a predefined structure and format for viewing the data. Without a template, the raw data is downloaded to MS Excel and can be reformatted there.
    • Download Word  icon to export data to the DOCX format.
The DOCX template can be predefined in the Administration in Publishing Templates
    • Download PDF  icon to export data to PDF (if PDF publishing is enabled).
For this export either XLS or DOC template is used. For details see Publishing Templates.
    • If no Rebate Agreement is selected, you will get a list of all Rebate Agreements in a plain XLS file (the same contents as in the table). For the export you can choose to exclude all currently hidden / all hidden Attribute fields.
    • If you expect the size of the downloaded file to be large, use the 'Async download' option, which helps prevent the web browser timeout.
    • You can restrict the export functionality to only specified user groups.
  • Copy  a Rebate Agreement.
  • Revoke a Rebate Agreement.
  • Create a new revision of a Rebate Agreement.
  • Mass approve or deny selected Rebate Agreements (with Submitted workflow status).
  • Create a new Rebate Agreement from template.
  • View and add attachments.
