Condition Record Sets
On this page, you can define Condition Record Sets and their structure. A Condition Record Set consists of the defined type of a condition and the condition table.
Create Condition Record Set
To create a new Condition Record Set, follow these steps:
Go to Administration > Configuration > Master Data > Condition Record Sets.
Click Add Condition Record Set.
In the pop-up dialog, define:
Name – A unique identifier of the set.
(Optional) Label
The number of key fields, between 1 and 12. This setting cannot be changed once the Condition Record Set is created.
(Optional) User group entitlements.
Click Add to create the new Condition Record Set.
Click on the name of the Condition Record Set in the list to open it for editing.
In the detail view, you can review and edit the settings of the individual columns. You can edit the label, column styling and in some cases also the data type.
The key fields. Their size is limited due to database restrictions as follows:

5 keys - 152 characters each
6 keys - 127 characters each
7 keys - 109 characters each
8 keys - 95 characters each
9 keys - 84 characters each
10 keys - 76 characters each
11 keys - 69 characters each
12 keys - 63 characters each
Valid To (date)
Valid From (date)
Unit of Measure (string)
Price Unit (number)
Condition Value (number)
Currency (string)
Attributes 1-100 (70 characters)
Since the release of Caribou Lou 14.0, we have increased the number of attribute fields from 30 to 100. Pricefx now supports PostgreSQL and MariaDB databases for Price Builder Database deployment. Due to the maximum row length limitation in MariaDB, we have adjusted the character limitations for this database. For more information see the summary tables below.Created

Attribute Lenght Change
Before 14.0 Release | # Attribute Fields | Lenght of Attribute |
---|---|---|
PostgreSQL | 30 | 255 characters |
MariaDB | 30 | 255 characters |
Release 14.0 | # Attribute Fields | Lenght of Attribute |
---|---|---|
PostgreSQL | 100 | 255 characters |
MariaDB | 100 | 70 characters |
In systems using the MariaDB database as the Price Builder Database, it is necessary to manually shorten attribute fields to 70 characters or fewer. This action must be completed before deploying release 14.0; otherwise, the deployment cannot proceed. Additionally, be aware that the migration process to upgrade to release 14.0 may take some time. Depending on the volume of data, it could take 20 minutes or more.
