The purpose of this space is to illustrate and provide an understanding of the role of the Integration Engineer within Pricefx. The IE will often plan, design, and implement the data integration process for a pricing application.

The data integration process involves the creation of a data pipeline between the client’s environment and the Pricefx master data structures (product, customer, transactions, etc) within a partition. As the data is moving through the pipeline it will be subject to extraction, transformation, cleansing, filtering, merging, consolidation, aggregation, and other actions. It is the role of the IE to determine the where, when, and how for each of these actions.
