For technical user training, we offer a more holistic approach called self-sufficiency.
Pricefx Self-sufficiency
Most customers want to be independent of the implementation vendor long-term and seek ways to maintain and further develop the tool in-house. It is more efficient and practical when the customer has internal resources that know the tool, do tasks around user management and tool configuration (level 1 and level 2 support), perform code corrections and tool maintenance, and step into further development. In addition, we want customers to take on their employees' training activities, including onboarding and supporting Learning Center development.
To become self-sufficient, customers will have to go through 2 milestones:
Foundation training - standard user learning path concluded with a certification exam to confirm the candidate's knowledge and skills to fulfill specific roles.
Mentoring and shadowing - once the foundational training is completed, the candidate should work with the implementation team to step-by-step become a member of the development team and, over time (usually 4-6 months), take over specific development tasks in the implementation project.
Which roles are currently covered?
Configuration Engineer – maintains the existing solution, implements new simple/medium-level requirements, and fixes bugs.
Integration Engineer - maintains existing integration connections, updates data sources, and fixes data-related bugs.
Optimization Engineer - maintains existing optimization models, updates the models, and develops new ones.
Super Users for UI and Support – user management, UI management, and configuration, 1-level of support ("forgot the password; how to find something" type of problems) & 2-level of support (integration and data).
End-User Onboarding & Training – custom user scenario reference guides, documentation, and learning paths. It is relevant for big organizations with multiple BUs, many users, and user turnover.
For companies with multiple business units, a broad range of users, and a global Pricefx roll-out, we suggest building an internal Learning Center with the help of the Pricefx Training team to continue creating internal knowledge and fast onboarding new users.

Project-specific training
Â
To ensure the smooth adoption of the Pricefx product, Pricefx recommends including training activities along the implementation cycle. Our Pricefx Training includes self-study materials and instructor-led training, forming learning paths for two target users: business users and developers.
Â
Kick-off training for the stakeholders involved in the Pricefx implementation project. The training covers project best practices, hands-on training on the tool with a defined scope, and technical Q&A. This training is required for a smooth project start and better Pricefx tool adoption. The target group is core project stakeholders, key IT and data management users, and decision-makers who will work with the tool.
UAT Training for the solution end-to-end testing user group. The training is designed based on the implemented solution and delivered in a train-the-trainer format for 15 people. The duration of the sessions depends on the project scope. The primary goal of UAT training is to prepare key end-users for UAT testing, which will increase tool acceptance and timely implementation completion.
Solution Adoption training us for developing standard solution onboarding materials like the end-user playbook and end-user training. This training can also be introduced during the company-wide roll-outs in a train-the-trainer format.
Pricefx Change & Engage Program (in pilot mode currently)
The Change & Engage Program is specifically tailored for customers who are implementing Pricefx. This program is a pivotal part of Pricefx's commitment to helping ensure a smooth transition, successfully implement our software solution, and drive a high adoption rate among the stakeholders after Go Live. Unlike conventional change management programs, our focus is on facilitating a series of workshops that aid in discovery and planning, aligning perfectly with our customers' journey from subscription to implementation, as well as regular check-ins with the customers during project implementation to track the progress of the change program and agreed milestones. We used 200+ implementation project experience to collect the best practices to help our customers avoid typical problems during the pricing project.
The program contains 3 steps focused on fast go-live and quicker Pricefx adoption. Every project will differ from a low-touch to a high-touch approach.
Â
Â
Program Focus: The essence of this program lies in its interactive sessions, designed to determine if customers possess the necessary information for effective change processes. In cases with gaps in knowledge, our objective is to help identify and get the information customers need.
We will provide:
Interactive workshops: At every step, we have workshops that aim to create an environment conducive to exploration and understanding. These sessions are crucial in helping the customer project team assess the organization’s readiness for change and devise appropriate planning strategies, ensuring an efficient approach to change management and further adoption. For example, during step 1, the output of workshops conducted before the kick-off will be a change program.
Artifacts and Resources: To enhance the effectiveness of our workshops, we have prepared a comprehensive collection of artifacts. These resources are designed to aid customers in running the change program internally and preparing for the Pricefx workshops. These artifacts include guidelines, templates, and checklists, all tailored to facilitate an organized approach to managing change. For example, you will get a template for mapping your stakeholders and standard communication templates for effectively sharing upcoming process changes.
What are the program limitations?
We do not offer classical change management or drive customer internal reorganization of processes. We guide our customers to what is necessary for successful Pricefx implementation;
Change program does not cover the cost of projects-specific (custom) and self-sufficiency training; that should be planned and arranged along with the program (highly recommended for successful adoption);
The customer is responsible for internal promotion and change program implementation. Pricefx will assist but not lead the effort;
Any actions or deliverables that are not defined within the standard Pricefx change program should be discussed and may be the subject of additional costs;
The change program’s success entirely depends on the customer’s total commitment and engagement in the program.
