Pricefx provides different training options to Pricefx customers and partners in their learning journey. Our training offers key knowledge about our product, business application, and technical application, and we are trying to align the content with recent product updates.

We want to make our learning accessible and serve all our target groups as best as possible.
Your first stop for all Pricefx Knowledge
Knowledge Base is a first step for all learning activities around Pricefx topics. It has a separate portal for general Pricefx information, an independent portal for Business Users with extended documentation, video, and navigation help content information, and a separate portal for Technical Users that covers roles like Configuration Engineering, Integration Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Project Managers. We are constantly working on expanding and improving our documentation.
We are also testing AI capabilities for better knowledge mining and will add self-navigation training with a free demo request option for business users.

Planning a user-specific training and need to obtain Pricefx certification?
Training Portal will be upgraded to a new platform on the first of March. It will become an instructor-led training and certification-only platform with limited time access tied to our course attendance. The access will be granted only to the users planning to attend the Instructor-led sessions in the upcoming 2 months.
We offer a variety of courses for three groups of users: business, admin, and technical.
Business User Path includes starting materials about Pricefx, pricing, pricing journey, Pricefx solution, and key functional areas presented through business scenarios. Business User instructor-led public training is scheduled monthly in CET (EMEA) and CST (Chicago) time zones.

Admin User Path is for the system administrators who will provide 1st and 2nd level support after the Pricefx implementation. The training provides knowledge about UI configuration, data flows, troubleshooting, and other advanced UI configuration topics. The instructor-led training is scheduled monthly at 3 pm CET/8 am CST.

Technical User Path is for developers who would like to build the skills for maintaining Pricefx solutions and includes two types of training:
Configuration Engineering
Integration Engineering
Optimization
The Configuration Engineering path includes self-paced learning, five days of instructor-led training scheduled monthly in CET (EMEA) and CST (Chicago) time zones, a study project, and a certification exam.

The Integration Engineering path includes self-paced learning, two days of instructor-led training, additional advanced foundations self-paced learning, a study project, and a certification exam. You don’t need a configuration engineering path to attend the integration engineering path.

The Optimization path includes a set of business user and technical user classes in a self-paced and instructor-led learning session. The class is scheduled 3 times a year and can be scheduled also upon request. We will add an Optimization class schedule when planned on this page.

Do you have some questions and need help finding answers in Knowledge Base?
To fill the knowledge gap, we introduced ask.pricefx.com. The ASK tool is modeled on the StackOverflow technology (stackoverflow.com ). It is designed to be a cooperative tool where users can answer a question or provide additional information regarding the subject of the question.
ASK is a Q&A forum that provides access to previously answered questions in one location. Please look at whether your type of question has already been answered, vote for the best answer, submit your question in a structured way, or even contribute with the answer.

A part of Pricefx’s effort to provide continuous education for all stakeholders. These series will include a mix of new articles and just-in-time training content in Knowledge Base as well as webinars that will help users (business and technical) to get trained on recent product updates, understand different product use cases and best practices, and deepen their expertise in different Pricefx areas. Pricefx Certifications
To ensure the learning process provides high-quality knowledge acquisition, we introduced a certification process for the critical roles in Pricefx implementation teams. We focus most of our certifications on technical users and are part of the Technical User Learning Path.
Certified Configuration Engineer
This type of Technical Learning Path consists of numerous self-study materials, instructor-led sessions, hands-on practice, and certification exams over 8 weeks.
Topics covered: Pricefx architecture, development tools, integration basics, data management, basic development in Analytics, Price Setting, Dashboards, and Quotes.
Knowledge Base: CE KB Space
Available for: customers, partners, internal employees
Prerequisites: at least one year of Java or similar experience, finished prerequisite Pricefx courses, and technical setup specified in the learning path.

Certified Integration Engineer
This is a technical certification for the Integration Engineers developing data integration routes for Pricefx customers. The path includes pricing knowledge training, product knowledge training, Pricefx implementation methodology, and project manager soft skills. The certified status can be acquired by taking an exam.
Topics covered: Data Integration patterns, Apache Camel infrastructure, IntegrationManager, Integration templates, inbound and outbound routes, connections, data mapping, troubleshooting, notification & alerts, Gitlab integrations, and XML DSL code.

Prerequisites: PlatformManager, Pricefx Master Data, Data Integration basics.

Certified Project Manager
This is a non-technical certification for the project managers managing the Pricefx tool implementation teams. The path includes pricing knowledge training, product knowledge training, Pricefx implementation methodology, and project manager soft skills. The certified status can be acquired by taking an exam.

Prerequisites: project management experience.
Pricefx Project Implementation Training
To ensure the smooth adoption of the Pricefx product, Pricefx recommends including training activities along the implementation cycle. Our Pricefx Training includes self-study materials and instructor-led training, forming learning paths for two target users: business users and developers. T
Kick-off training for the stakeholders involved in the Pricefx implementation project. The training covers project best practices, hands-on training on the tool with a defined scope, and technical Q&A. This training is required for a smooth project start and better Pricefx tool adoption. The target group is core project stakeholders, key IT and data management users, and decision-makers who will work with the tool.
UAT Training for the solution end-to-end testing user group. The training is designed based on the implemented solution and delivered in a train-the-trainer format for 15 people. The duration of the sessions depends on the project scope. The primary goal of UAT training is to prepare key end-users for UAT testing, which will increase tool acceptance and timely implementation completion.
Solution Adoption training us for developing standard solution onboarding materials like the end-user playbook and end-user training. This training can also be introduced during the company-wide roll-outs in a train-the-trainer format.
Pricefx Self-sufficiency
Most of the customers want to be independent of the implementation vendor long-term and are looking for ways to maintain and further develop the tool in-house. It is more efficient and practical when the customer has internal resources that know the tool, do tasks around user management and tool configuration (level 1 and level 2 support), perform code corrections and tool maintenance, and step into further development. In addition, we want customers to take on their employees' training activities, including onboarding and supporting Learning Center development.
Which roles are currently covered?
Configuration Engineer – maintains the existing solution, implements new simple/medium-level requirements, and fixes bugs.
Integration Engineering - maintains existing integration connections, updates data sources, and fixes data-related bugs.
Super Users for UI and Support – user management, UI management, and configuration, 1-level of support ("forgot the password; how to find something" type of problems) & 2-level of support (integration and data).
End-User Onboarding & Training – custom user scenario reference guides, documentation, and learning paths. It is relevant for big organizations with multiple BUs, many users, and user turnover.
For companies with multiple business units, a broad range of users, and a global Pricefx roll-out, consider building an internal Learning Center with the help of the Pricefx Training team to continue building internal knowledge and fast onboarding new users.
