Rebate Groups

The enhancement added to Rebates in Clover Club aims at streamlining the workflow and easing up on the extensive approval process.

Business Scenario for Rebate Records Groups

The business scenario that inspired this upgrade described situations when different rebate agreements for selected products with particular conditions. In such a setup, this means that monthly (or at different intervals, depending on your setting) you would get Rebate Records that require revisions or approvals for just one customer. When scaled to business sizes, this becomes a significant overload.

Rebate Record Groups

To avoid increases in approval workload, in the Clover Club release, Rebate Record Groups were introduced, allowing you to group Rebates for more efficient approval.

To see how this looks, go to Rebate Records.

Note that this is subject to configuration and the defaults have not been changed.

You will see a modified Rebate screen that displays a hierarchy of the product and the rebates allocated to it as well as the frequency. This explains the increased number of lines displayed in the Rebate Records.

NEW: The Rebate Records is now a dynamic tab in the rebate agreement you have open, so you can shift between them easily and see the records attached to an agreement.

The rest of the screens for Rebates stayed the same with respective upgrades visible. Now you can see the Rebate Record Groups option in the dropdown.

If you have enough rights for the action, you can go ahead and approve Rebate Agreements as usual. If you want to know how to do this, go here.

Note that not having a workflow is a prerequisite for Rebate Records to be able to be approved.

You can now submit the Records for Workflow.

You will also see that if you click on the rebate records you cannot submit it anymore as the system is configured to go with group level approval.
