How to Set up Price List Summary
You can define a summary view for a Price List.
Select the desired Price List and click the Summary button. The button is also available in the Price List detail view.
Optionally you can:
Group products by any fields by setting up Product Criteria and Item Criteria. Use filtering to filter data for the summary.
Set up Result Fields (all number, money or percentage formatted fields are available) to be summed or averaged in the Summary view. Any number of Result Fields can be set up.
Enable Count results to see the absolute number of items of the aggregation.
Click the Refresh icon to calculate or update the summary.
Additional options are:
Export raw data from the summary into Excel.
Save the summary view. You can save the summary view as a general or standard preference. The general preference will be automatically used for any new summary view without configuration (if there is no global/private standard preference available). Global preference (the Everyone option) is available for all users.
Saving the summary will save the settings only, not the data and values.
Note the difference among the possible preference option combinations:
Standard and Private (Me)
The user who saved the view can see this view applied only to the Price List or LPG for which it was saved, it is not applied to other Price Lists or LPGs.
Other users cannot see this view.
Standard and Global (Everyone)
The user who saved the view can see this view applied only to the Price List or LPG for which it was saved, it is not applied to other Price Lists or LPGs.
Other users can see this view applied to the Price List or LPG for which it was saved but not to other Price Lists or LPGs.
General and Private (Me)
The user who saved the view can see this view applied to the Price List or LPG for which it was saved and also to all other Price Lists or LPGs.
Note: If a Price List or LPG has a saved standard private/global view, this view will be applied instead.Other users cannot see this view.
General and Global (Everyone)
The user who saved the view can see this view applied to the Price List or LPG for which it was saved and also to all other Price Lists or LPGs.
Note: If a general private view exists for a Price List or LPG, this view is displayed instead. If a Price List or LPG has a saved standard private/global view, this view will be applied instead of the global view.Other users can see this view applied to the Price List or LPG for which it was saved and also to all other Price Lists or LPGs. The same priorities apply as in the above note.
This behavior can be summarized in the following table:
Preference | User who saved the view | Other users | ||
---|---|---|---|---|
Is the view applied to a Price List or LPG for which it was saved? | Is the view applied to other Price Lists or LPGs? | Can other users see this view for a Price List or LPG for which it was saved? | Can other users see this view for other Price Lists or LPGs? | |
Standard + Private (Me) | ||||
Standard + Global (Everyone) | ||||
General + Private (Me) | Note: If a Price List or LPG has a saved standard private/global view, this view will be applied instead. | |||
General + Global (Everyone) | Note: If a general private view exists for a Price List or LPG, this view is displayed instead. If a Price List or LPG has a saved standard private/global view, this view will be applied instead of the global view. | The same priorities apply as in the note on the left. |
