Scenario Comparison

The Scenario Comparison is a dynamic dashboard that enables you to compare different pricing scenarios, allowing you to analyze forecasted outcomes such as revenue, margin, and volume. This helps in predicting the impact of various scenarios.

Dashboard Settings

Scenarios: Select the scenarios you want to compare from a drop-down menu. Once the desired scenarios are selected, click the Apply Settings button to update the dashboard.

The matrix displays key information for each scenario – the scenario name, formula used, forecasted revenue, forecasted margin, forecasted volume, calculation period (for more details on calculation scheduling, see the How to Periodically Recalculate Agreements article), and actions (see below).

Activate Scenario: You can activate a scenario directly from the dashboard by clicking the Activate button in the Actions column. This action sets the selected scenario as the active one and other scenarios as inactive for generating prices.

Grouping and Ungrouping: The dashboard can be grouped or ungrouped to display data differently. Grouping can help in aggregating data for a more holistic view, while ungrouping provides detailed view.
