Submit a New Compensation Plan

In this section you can learn how to submit your newly created sales compensation plan in Sales Compensation in Pricefx.

Some of our screens may look different as, for the purposes of this tutorial, we are in a demo environment. This should not deter you from understanding how the system works.

Calculations and Results

In the Calculations tab you will be able to compare previous compensation against current ones.

While the sales incentives will be paid out after the sales occur, the calculated incentives can be forecasted, in the calculation area. Here, using the “Show” icon, you can review the chart results.

You can also get a visual representation of the compensation comparison via a bar chart that will display upon clicking the Show button. You can close this screen by clicking the light grey in the top-right corner, or OK in the bottom-right.

If you go back and click on the condition are in Items by clicking the checkbox (1), the system will display the calculation details for the selected item. Using the vertical bar, you can scroll down to the end of the Calculation section, and see the details of the selected compensation type (2).

Submitting the Plan

After reviewing the results, if you are happy with the plan, click Submit at the top-right corner.

You will be prompted to confirm the submission. Unless you decide to make changes, click on Yes.

A confirmation message will be generated at the top of the screen. At this point, the status of the Compensation plan will change from draft to Submitted.
