The Workflow Designer has the ability to load any of the previously saved workflow strategies, this will include any pre-defined strategies deployed with the Workflow Designer or and any custom workflows that may have been constructed.

On the initial starting page for Workflow Designer:

NOTE: We are on the Design step and on the Workflow Designer tab, then we can view each of the saved workflow strategies (ie. Quote, Price List, etc).

Then, we can load any of these strategies by clicking on it, then it is loaded in the visual view:

The workflow templates that are provided with Workflow Designer include the following pieces:

Approval Steps

Provides a default approval step with reason test, watcher option, number of approvers, approver name and a sample conditional.

Approvers

Provides a template for adding our approvers by username, user group or business role. Allows us to connect to the approval steps.

Conditions

Through the use of conditions, the designer can add one or more conditional tests to be performed for each of the approval steps. These conditions can access both the header and line item components of a Pricefx object (ie. Price list, Quote, etc) and evaluate their contents.

Functions

This provides a set of built-in functions that can be used in conjunction with our conditional tests to test for null values, the size of an object (ie. an array) or to convert a value into a number (As Number) or a text value (As String).

This template provides a default approval step with reason test, watcher option, number of approvers, approver name and a sample conditional.
