Optimization Engine
The Optimization Engine (OE) is an efficient tool to optimize a price waterfall and many other price optimization problems.
It is used in different optimization accelerators, such as Price Waterfall Optimization, Negotiation Guidance (from V2), Markdown Optimization, Price List Impact Simulation, and Shelf Prices Optimization.
The easiest way to start with an Optimization Engine is to use one of these accelerators: it is a full implementation of a standard waterfall optimization model that uses the partition data. The documentation explains what the accelerator focuses on and how Pricefx handles optimization problems.
