SMTP Configuration
On this page, you can configure connection to a SMTP server that will be used for sending emails directly from Quotes, Agreements/Promotions and Rebate Agreements. The advantage of connecting to your own SMTP server is that the actual sender's email address can be used.
If you do not make any settings here, the standard global system configuration will be used. This means that the email will be sent by the default system sender and the email address of the user who actually sent the email will be included in the Reply To header.
Fill in the host name and port number and select the appropriate transfer protocol. If the server requires user authentication, enable the check-box and enter the user name and password.
Do not forget to save the settings.
