Navigate Payout Sales - Accruals

Some of our screens may look different as, for the purposes of this tutorial, we are in a demo environment. This should not deter you from understanding how the system works.

To make sure that you can easily find what you are looking for and to ensure transparency as well as availability of historical records, this section will teach you how to navigate Payout Sales - Accruals.

Accrual Records

Accrual Records have a simpler data structure compared to Compensation Records, but are essentially the same thing. They are ideal when you need to generate thousands of Compensation Records that represent all possible combinations of given attributes (customer, product, period, etc.) and you do not want to overload the system.

Upon completing the calculation, accrual records will also be generated along with compensation plan records.

To see the Accrual Records go to Sales Compensations Accrual Records. Use the checkbox to select an agreement source. You can use the options that will be listed in the black ribbon menu below to continue. You can also mass delete records in the top-right corner, or you can export your selection. Using the Agreement source filter in the accrual records table, you can select the plan you were working with. This will show you complete transactional data including, the baseline value, compensation period, last update, seller and product information etc.

Accrual Records are not intended for large data structures.

A total of 100 generic attributes are available for this purpose.

They have built-in fields to reference the original Compensation Record and identify the Accrual Record by name, within the scope of the (top level) Compensation Record. Accrual Records are deleted automatically when their parent Compensation Record is deleted.
