Steps:
Go to Account > User Rights > Users.
In the users table, select a user / user group and select Permissions from the row menu.
Note:
To select multiple users / user groups, use the checkboxes at the beginning of the row and then click the Permissions button at the bottom.
If your user is not listed, click Invite User at top right. After you fill in an email address and submit it, the PlatformManager administrator will be prompted to create the user account and invite the user in. If the user is already registered in PlatformManager, this user will be notified about the invitation to this account and will automatically appear in the account user list. (If the invited user does not activate the account in 2 weeks, the account is deleted.) The account owner is then notified that a new user was added to the account. Invited users are also listed in the general Users section (in Administration) where the PlatformManager admin has an option to resend the invitation email.
Select which asset (account/partition/integration) the permissions should be applied to. After you click the given asset, a new pane with permissions will roll out. (See Step 2 marked red in the illustrative image.)
To select multiple assets, use the checkboxes at the beginning of the row and then click the OK button at the bottom.
You can either work here with individual accounts/partitions/integrations or you can create your own combination of these (to be found on the Asset Groups tab). For details on assets see How to Create Asset Group.
To assign permissions, you have two options (Step 3 marked red in the illustrative image.):
On the Permissions tab, click the checkboxes to set permissions for individual objects/actions of that asset, such as edit an account, use a data load.
On the Business Role tab, select the corresponding business role which already contains predefined permissions for individual objects/actions. For details see How to Create Business Role.
