What is the PlatformManager’s release cycle?
A new version of PlatformManager is usually released once a month (an exception may be summer and the end of the year when we may skip the release). The newly released version is automatically available to all users.
Who can give me access to PlatformManager or its specific section?
The permissions can be managed by your company’s PlatformManager administrator. If this is not the case, please create a helpdesk ticket or contact your Customer Success Manager.
For Pricefx employees, the permissions are managed by the Internal IT team. You can request access via the internal helpdesk ticket.
I am getting an error that the user used for communication with the partition doesn’t have all the required roles. How can I fix it?
A. At the partition check if the user mentioned in the error message has all the user roles assigned.
B. In PlatformManager, change the user which PlatformManager uses for communication with the partition (Account - Partitions - Partition Access Entitlement).
The recommended option is to use the technical user. In this case, you do not have to take care of the user roles assignment in the partition.
I would like to grant Gitlab access to the IntegrationManager instance to a user who doesn’t have a Gitlab account. Is it possible?
Yes, it works the way that if the user doesn't have a Gitlab account yet, Gitlab sends them the invitation via email when they are granted access to some IntegrationManager in PlatformManager.
Can I change the password for the SFTP that is provided for each next-gen IM instance?
Yes, you can change it in the “SFTP Servers” menu section using the “User Management” option.
