Claims Configuration Overview

This article summarizes all of the configuration possibilities for Claims.

Logics

  • Claim Validation Logic Logic - Claim validation logic is a calculation logic in the Channel Management module which validates the claim data provided by the distributor against the data (Quote, Promotion Contract, …) available to the manufacturer. The aim is to verify if the data are in a good shape and if the claimed money matches the expectations.

  • Claim Source Logic Logic - If the Claim data should be built from Quote data, you need to provide a logic which will read the Quote data and create the data for the Claim.

  • Claim Allocation Logic - When a user (e.g. claim approver) reviews the Claim line item and they want to see how the Claim would be allocated (e.g. to see which Quote defines the quantity limits and which other Claims use that approved quantity), they select the Claim line item and click the Allocation Grid button.
