Any document (Quote, Rebate Agreement, etc.) in Pricefx can be exported to the following formats:

  • XLSX

  • DOCX

  • PDF

Data tables can be exported to:

  • XLSX

  • CSV

You can define your own Excel or Word template (with logo, brand colors, etc.). If there is more than one template for the object you are about to export, you will be prompted to select the template that you want to use.

In the Export dialog, there are several options available:

  • Exclude currently hidden Attr. xx fields – You can exclude all fields from the export that are currently hidden from the table (via the Select Fields to Display dialog).

  • Exclude all currently hidden fields – You can exclude from the export only the currently hidden attribute fields.

  • Keep all fields – The exported file will include all fields.

  • Async download – For Excel exports, you can choose asynchronous download if the table that you want to export is very large. In Dashboard portlets, the Analytics module (charts, Rollups, Data Manager), Product master and Result Matrixes, async download is applied by default and the Async download checkbox is not available.
All asynchronously downloaded files can be reviewed and downloaded again (for 3 days after the first download) on the Notifications page.

  • Include extra fields – You can include the matrix field columns in the export.
(info) This option is only available when the advanced configuration option extraExportColumnsConfig is defined. For more information see How to Export a Price List Containing Result Matrix.

Note: When data exported to Excel contains the characters +, -, or =, a cell style will be used that automatically prefixes these characters with an apostrophe, but the apostrophe will not be shown in the cell itself. However, this works only for the first 64,000 cells, which is a cell style limit in Excel.
