The Optimization Engine (OE) is an efficient tool to optimize a price waterfall and many other price optimization problems.

It is used in different optimization accelerators, such as Price Waterfall Optimization, /wiki/spaces/ACCDEV/pages/4306632764 (from V2), Markdown Optimization, Price List Impact Simulation, and Shelf Prices Optimization.

The easiest way to start with an Optimization Engine is to use one of these accelerators: it is a full implementation of a standard waterfall optimization model that uses the partition data. The documentation explains what the accelerator focuses on and how Pricefx handles optimization problems.
