Plasma dashboards show comparison of the benchmark and customers' data.

Plasma KPI dashboards are always auto-deployed together with both Plasma Transactions and Plasma Quotes Accelerators.

  • KPI data = Anonymized consolidated data from several customers corresponding to the selected filters.

  • Company data = Data from the customer logged into his partition.

In this section:

Dashboards Structure

There are 4 dashboards:

Filters

Currently, only the “Industry” and “Selling to” filters are available. The number of filters will grow with the increasing number of benchmarking companies.

Charts and KPI Availability

For confidentiality reasons, benchmarks are not shown when sufficient data is not available in case of more detailed KPI filtering by a user. Benchmarks are always compiled from aggregated metrics with a minimum of 5 anonymized entities.

Quartile Charts

  • Quartile charts are the Bar and Line Charts displaying 3 separate bars in the X-axis for bottom, median and upper quartile.

  • Quartiles correspond to KPI data.

  • Blue reference line displays Customer Data.

  • The color of the quartile bars indicates whether the quartile is well performing or not.

Example:

In this example, Bottom quartile with lower values is in green because the lower percent of deals you have outside guidelines, the better you perform in terms of process and guidelines defined.

Trailing Twelve Months (TTM)

The data scope taken into consideration is always trailing 12 months of data.
By default, today's calendar date subtracted by three months is considered as the end date of the period of those 12 months. The purpose of excluding the 3 latest months of data is to avoid confidentiality concerns and also ensure that we use complete data.

Example: Analyzing extracted data in April 2021 reverts to analyzing data from January 2020 until December 2020.

However, it is possible not to apply this delay for the company data for the logged customer: there is a check-box “Show latest Company Data” in the Dashboards settings which enables you to choose what to display.

Example : Today’s date is January 1st, 2022.
- If it is unchecked (default) – The data scope considered is Oct 2020 – Sept 2021 for both KPI data and Company data.
- If it is checked – The data scope considered for KPI data is Oct 2020 – Sept 2021 and for the Company data it is from Jan 2021 – Dec 2021.

Data Exclusion

There are some exclusion rules in the Plasma engine aiming to provide more accurate and high quality indicators. Exclusion rules are based on non-validity/non-compliance hints such as: Quantity is null or InvoicePrice is null for a transaction etc.

These exclusion rules can create slight discrepancies between data considered in Plasma and data available in the customer partition.
