This training program is designed to prepare experienced Configuration Engineers (CEs) for the Solution Architect (SA) role. It follows a structured path combining self-study, instructor-led sessions, and hands-on experience. The program spans 4 to 8 weeks and includes 4 refinement/QA calls with an instructor to ensure comprehension and success.

  • The Target audience for this training are Experienced Configuration Engineers wanting to transition into the Solution Architect role.

  • If you are CE certified or have at minimum 1 year of CE experience you are eligible for this training.

Registration

To register to the Solution Architect Training program please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to maros.grman@pricefx.comwith this subject “Solution Architect registration“

    1. Provide information about your background and experience and when you would like to start the training.

  2. In the response to your email you will get possible dates for your CE Verification dates + interview (2 hours proctored session).

  3. Once you pass the test and interview you will get access to Sana and all training materials.

  4. Access is given every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month.

    1. For example, if you pass the interview on the 30th of October, you will get access to the training on the 4th of November earliest.

Program Description

  • Solution Architect learning path: A comprehensive program aimed at transforming experienced Configuration Engineers into Solution Architects.

  • Self-study & instructor-led refinement sessions: A combination of self-paced learning and instructor-guided refinement/QA calls (4 total during the training).

  • Main pillars of SA knowledge: Focused on core concepts and essential skills that SAs need to excel.

  • Hands-on extensive project: Each student will be involved in a significant project that helps them apply their learning to real-world scenarios.

  • CE experience mandatory: This program is designed specifically for experienced CEs who are looking to move into the SA role.

  • Pre-requisites: CE Certification or 1 year of CE experience.

    • For those who want to refresh their Configuration Engineering knowledge before diving deeper into the SA role.

  4. Business Analyst Basics

    • Understanding how to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

  5. Data Readiness

    • Preparing and structuring data for architectural solutions.

  6. Product Knowledge

    • Comprehensive coverage of Pricefx products. SAs need only focus on the product areas relevant to their role.

  7. Standard SA Role Activities

    • Overview of daily activities and responsibilities of a Solution Architect.

  8. Prescriptive Delivery

    • Best practices and methodologies for delivering solutions efficiently and effectively.

  9. Final Task

    • Capstone project that brings together all aspects of the training.

Billing occurs at the time of registration, which will grant access to all training materials and resources. The registration process is open year-round, and participants can begin training every two weeks 1st and 3rd Monday of the month when access is provided.
