The Studio Metadata Editor allows you to design the structure of data tables with increased ease and speed. With this tool, you can add and edit attributes in a more user-friendly way, which ultimately streamlines data management and reduces the time spent on data entry. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced user, this new functionality promises to enhance your data editing experience within the Studio tool.

Supported master tables

With the editor, you can edit the following data tables:

  • Products

  • Product Extensions

  • Customers

  • Customer Extensions

  • Sellers

  • Seller Extensions

  • Pricing Parameters (called Company Parameters in Unity)

In the future, we plan to add support for Data Sources, Datamarts, Price Records, Payout Records and Rebate Records.

Create a new table

In the project tree, right click on the root folder > Pricefx > Configure <any of the tables listed above>

Open editor for an existing table

In the project tree, right click on the folder representing the master table and select either a JSON file or a virtual node “Editor” if it exists.
