Context Linking

The feature of context linking was built exactly for the purpose to connect different modules and different parts of the application. It was delivered in Bees Knees release and for Paper Plane release a few upgrades have been prepared. The first one we are looking at is how we now support more actions in the target page Action Parameter.

So not only Submit that was already possible and Recalculate, but you are now able to configure for example result metrics with different actions based on the workflow status. The newly supported actions are Approve, Reject and Withdraw. So if you have a list of quotes, you can for example approve the quote directly from the result metrics: if you click approve you will be taken to the detail of the quote and if everything goes well, the quote should be automatically approved.

Here you can see what happens when the quote was submitted. It is automatically recalculated. This is what we call context linking.
