How to Import Company Parameters
You can export the Parameters table to XLSX or CSV, modify the data and import the modified table back to Pricefx.
Go to the table that you want to export and in the 3 Dots menu select the Import Parameters option.
Do not use the Export option to export the table. The exported file will not contain the table header and you will not be able to correctly import it back.
In the Import Parameters dialog Step 1, click Export CSV or Export Excel.
Edit the exported file as needed but do not change the header.
Import the file back to Pricefx using the Step 2 Upload CSV or Excel file button.
Decide if you want to append or overwrite the existing data.
Note that any filters applied to the Company Parameters table are disregarded when you export the table, meaning that it will always contain all the data. When you import the file back and select the ‘Overwrite all existing data’ option, it will overwrite all the data, not only the visible filtered rows.Add new lines to existing data – Valid records from the uploaded file will be added to the existing records. Records with duplicate keys will be omitted.
Overwrite all existing data – After import, the table will mirror the content of the upload file (though only valid records will be imported). Records that are not in the upload file will be deleted without any recovery option.
Click Import.
Note:
For a correct import back to Company Parameters table, the header must respect the format
label [column_name]
for columns. This means that the label cannot contain square brackets ([ ]) as it would break the import. When importing matrix tables, there is a character limit for each cell: Matrix,Matrix2, Matrix3 - 255 characters, Matrix4 - 150 characters, Matrix5-6 - 100 characters.
