Reporting Guidance

Basic rules for time reporting on the project are:

• Time for testing, creating test case and reporting founded issues should be reported from user stories, not from Tests

• Time for stand-ups and other project administration should be logged to a special task, you will get them from you PM

• Time for retesting of bugs during UAT should be logged directly to those bugs

• Report your time daily so it is clear for PM on which task you worked on and how many time you needed

• Use clear description, when you report your time. Description should not be always the same (like “testing“), it should be clear what you did today. Examples of possible descriptions:

  • “create test cases, testing of calculations in LPGs, reporting results“

  • “preparing test data for testing workflows - creating new quotes and submit them to test approval process“

  • “retesting fix of approval process“

  • “continue of testing of LPG calculations“
