Introduction to the Pricefx Implementation Methodology

At Pricefx we use a 'hybrid-Agile' Project Methodology to deliver our projects. This methodology is shaped based on the experience and lessons learned of 300+ projects. As we work in a customer-supplier relationship using a SoW, pure Agile will typically not be accepted by our customers. They want to pay to get a certain projected scope delivered that gives them value. Therefore the beginning of the project is more waterfall, the actual delivery is done using a lot of agile ceremonies, and at the end we close the project again in a waterfall way. Even during delivery we only use only the elements of Agile that we think are beneficial for our type of projects. In general our aim is to keep our delivery model as simple and as lean as possible.

The model described below will work for almost all of our projects. For very big or very small projects adaptions can be made. For program implementations we have a separate section on Confluence with some materials that can be used.
