This learning path is designed for individuals that need to attain the skills, strategies, techniques and Pricefx product knowledge for the Solution Architect role. It is designed to highlight the four pillars for this role:

Product Knowledge, provide up-to-date knowledge on the key capabilities (Analytics, Price Setting, Quotes, Promotions, Rebates) within Pricefx solutions. This will include the understanding of how these capabilities work, what they are used for and what scenarios to apply them for. This should also include knowledge of Accelerators and Prescriptive Delivery Approach.

Data and Integration Infrastructure Knowledge, provide insights and capabilities of Data Readiness Methodology, and provide skills the enable the ability to lead the conversation about data interfaces and building the data interfaces document. Additionally, give insights and suggestions for inbound and outbound connections.

Business Analytical Skills, ensure that an SA understands the business requirements, customer user stories and how they could be realized in Pricefx solution. This will emphasize core analytical and critical thinking skills coupled with Pricefx product knowledge.

SA Activities and Tasks, utilize a case study approach where they will be given a real pricing project scenario, and they will need to drive the grooming session and turn user stories into technical design suggestions and technical descriptions for CEs.

  • Provide product knowledge across all of the major Pricefx capabilities from the viewpoint of a solution architect

  • Understand the core functionality of the major Pricefx capabilities (Price Setting, Quoting, etc.)

  • Understand the core functionality of the principle Pricefx Accelerators (PSP, CI, SI and Optimization)

  • Provide key concepts of Data Readiness Methodology and understand core integration tasks related to the solution architect role.

  • Define the common analytical skills, concepts and techniques used by solution architects on pricing application design.
