Set up the Environment

Check the steps in Prerequisites for Developing on Local Machines to make sure you have all the tools.

  1. Install Java JDK version 8: https://openjdk.java.net/projects/jdk8/
    or https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/overview/java8-2100321.html
  2. Install Maven: https://maven.apache.org/download.cgi
  3. Setup PFX maven repository. For details see Install Maven and Add Pricefx Repository.
  4. Install your favorite IDE for Java.
