S/4HANA Authentication

S/4HANA Authentication

The most straight forward approach to authenticate in S/4HANA is to use user credentials. Create user credentials in Security Materials with a username and password.

CSRF token and cookie are required for writing any records to S/4HANA. An integration flow can be scheduled to get, update and store the token to a global variable and to be shared by different integration flows. You can get the token from any API provided by S/4HANA.

For explanation and configuration of this integration flow, see Refresh SAP S/4HANA OData Cookie and CSRF Token in the “Sample Artifacts for SAP S/4HANA Integration with Pricefx” package. There is also an example of a duplicate of this integration flow in “Pricefx Price Management with SAP S/4HANA” package.

You will also need to provide Application Interface Register when calling any OData service, which can be retrieved from the Pricefx partition by calling https://pricefx.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ACCDEV/pages/4895540015/Other+Utilities#Get-AIR-Key-from-Pricefx.
