Lates Release Upgrades
With the new release (Clover Club), along the data sources aiming at an analytical perspective like Datamarts or Rollups, Dashboards have been added as sources of data for Watchers. This means that now, you can watch specific information from Customer Insights or Sales Insights directly from the respective dashboards.
Now Watchers/ Actions can be created from Analytics > Data Analyzer > Charts (currently supported Bar&Line, Time Series, Pie, Data Table).
Contextual Buttons
Actionable Insights is already integrating seamlessly with Dashboards, Charts, Customer Insights and Sales Insights. You have already seen the benefits of Sales Insights and Customer Insights, so now we will look at how you can quickly benefit from Actionable Insights in Dashboards and Charts.
How To
Let’s take SI Waterfall as our example dashboard. Now when the dashboard loads there is a button in the right corner that will allow you to create contextual actions right from the dashboard. When you do this, the dashboard is essentially added into the action as a contextual object for that particular action.
You can create a new action in the context of this chart and the link will be provided automatically.
Create a Watcher from Data Tables
Moreover, you can create a new Watcher from a data table.
If you click on a particular data table, you can transfer the data table and all inputs as well as its definition into your chart. You can also see that by doing so, we are already in a new Watcher page.
This will be already pre-filled with all inputs from the data table and you can have the results already available in the table. (see last screen) You can now continue to set up the Detection Rules to create detection rules based on the data you have available. At this point follow the same flow as in Actions.
Dashboards is not the only place in the application where you get these contextual buttons and although we are still in process of completing them, the buttons will be available throughout most of the solution, in other chart types, in more dashboards and also in other parts of the application.
