The Pricefx GenAI chatbot relies on the Pricefx Knowledge Base as the primary source of information for generating responses. Although the knowledge base contains extensive details about Pricefx products and solutions, it may not cover all aspects comprehensively to respond accurately to every question and prompt.
This article aims to elaborate on the organization of content within our knowledge base and offer guidance on interacting with it effectively for precise responses from the Pricefcx GenAI chatbot.
Knowledge Levels and Context
One of the important concepts to understand when working with a GenAI chatbot is the role of contextual understanding. When the chatbot begins searching for content to respond to your questions, it is using this principle to accumulate information to use as the source of its response.
The Pricefx knowledge that is being used by the GenAI chatbot can be visualized as separated into the following hierarchic levels or tiers. Our navigation through these levels will lead to more in-depth information as we dive through each successive layer:
Conceptual Level
This level involves high-level concepts, categories, and relationships that form the foundation of the overall knowledge structure of the Pricefx content.
