The view state object can be used in Quote-, Rebate Agreement-, and Contract header logics. It describes a few aspects of the current state of the front-end application. It has the following properties:

selectedNodes

List of identifiers (string) for those items that were selected by the end-user (within the frontend application).

openFolders

List of identifiers (string) for those folders that were opened by the end-user (within the frontend application).

gridViewState

A string.
