Key Functionality

The Quoting functionality within Pricefx follows the CPQ or Configure Price Quote format.

It has been designed to provide workflows that accelerate the quoting process and empower sales teams to quote and negotiate confidently with all the necessary data to hand, such as costs, margins, off-invoice incentives like rebates, if you've enabled our rebates module etc….

It allows you to save different quote types as templates and also allows you to undertake mass updates of quotes when things change and finally it creates pricing records that can be exchanged with integrated CRM and ERP systems, such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce and many more.

Create a New Quote

In this tutorial we'll walk through the Quoting Workflow. From setting parameters on the header level and adding products for the specific customer, to attachments which allows you to include any document that you'd like to attach on the quote itself. The workflow approval and the messages tab which allows you to use an instant messaging experience to collaborate within your organization. And if you have our Customer Insights Accelerator installed you can access Customer Specific insights on the Insights tab.

Understanding Price Records

This tutorial walks through how the Price Records relate to quotes, what type of information is available and how Price Records are used.

When a quote is approved, a price record is created for each product against the corresponding customers account. These are stored in the Price Records section of our Quoting module.

Quoting with the Waterfall Chart

This tutorial focuses on how the different elements within the Pricefx Pricing Waterfall are produced using inputs from the various Pricefx modules to demonstrate how powerful quoting within Pricefx is.

Create and Edit Quote Type Templates

A Quote Type is a template that specifies the logic that calculates the quote results, it can define user input parameters as well as the workflow approval logic and provides opportunities to restrict edit or view access to a specific group.
