In this step, we will be focusing on the creation of the IntegrationManager instance that will be used for all of our integration efforts.

Validation of Gitlab profile

Prior to performing this step, we need to verify our user name on our Gitlab profile to ensure that it matches what IntegrationManager instance will be using.

  1. Go to the Pricefx Gitlab at gitlab.pricefx.eu and login with 0365 login.

  2. Next, we need to open our profile:

3. On the left-side navigation panel, select the Account option:

4. Verify your username and path are set to the format of [first-name].[last-name] like shown below:

NOTE: If it is not set to this format, then the connection between Git and IntegrationManager instance will fail when an attempt is made to connect them.

IntegrationManager Instance

  1. Select the Integrations option on left-hand side navigation:

2. Next, we need to create a new IntegrationManager instance. Click on the New IntegrationManager button:

3. Click on the Create New Instance option:

Choose the most recent version:

4. Set the Integration Name to the same name as our partition:

Click Submit button.

NOTE: When the integration instance is created, the Git repository linked to the instance will be automatically created as well.

5. As part of the creation process for the integration instance, you will receive an email concerning the connection to the SFTP server:

6. Next, we need to set up the Git access and permissions for our instance. On the Integrations panel, select your instance name, click on it to display the Permissions option:

 

 

The permissions panel will appear:

7. Click on the Add User option and then select yourself from the list and click Add button. You should now see yourself on the list of users:
