Several languages are used to model the customer's problem / the instance of a multi-agent optimization engine that will be deployed, depending on how advanced we are in the project.

Typically we start by using a graphical norm to discuss with the customer, then it is refined through a problem description used to automatically instantiate the Multi-Agent Optimization Engine. Here is a presentation of the graphical norm and how to build it.

  • The main concepts one needs to know are spaces, dimensions, variables, and criteria.
  • The graphical norm is described.
  • Some explained examples are provided

Modeling the problem directly translates into instantiating the subsequent multi-agent optimization engine. Hence, it is critical to the success of a project. We identified some good practices, summarized in Modeling Guidelines.
