X-Ray is a test management add-on in Jira and it allows us to do that allows for all testing-related activities in Jira and stay visible to the team. It indexes tests in to be done within Jira. It provides real-time , so you run tests with indexing of tests, enabling full control of the entire testing process. That way, you get total coverage, catch problems fast, and keep releasing quality software with confidence.X-Ray offers features such as traceability reports to identify correct or incorrect tests, orchestration and integration with frameworks like Cucumber and JIRA, and the ability to link requirements to test cases.
The configuration of X-Ray is easy and safe, and it provides advantages such as visibility of testing activities for the project team, test case review with the team or customer, and the ability to have regression tests and smoke tests in JIRA.
