For selected object types (such as Products, Customers, Parameters) you can make changes in a controlled way: define what objects can be changed, send these changes through an approval workflow and keep a record of the changes. This is done through Data Change Requests (DCR).
To be able to configure Types of Data Change Requests, you need to have General Admin (without User Management) or General Admin user role assigned.
