Firstly the Header:

In this section, a calculation logic is defined, which is used for the whole document and all its data. This logic is executed when you select the Recalculate action for the agreement.

As a user of the system, you'll simply be inputting the relevant parameter on which the calculation will be based. You can see this in practice in our tutorial on how to create a rebate agreement.

Workflow Logics

Workflow logics are divided into two separate options, firstly Rebate Agreement Workflow determines what the workflow approval process is and what roles are included in the approval process, and Rebate Record Workflow determines how rebate records are approved during and after the rebate period ends.

The Condition Types Filtering (or Filtering Logic)

Within the rebate, Condition Types define the line items in Rebate Agreements. Each line item in a rebate agreement is based on a specific condition type, which specifies the calculation logic that calculates the output and can also specify user input parameters that provide data to the calculation. You can learn more about condition types in a separate tutorial.

Configuration

Configuration is where configuration engineers can add Dynamic Tabs to deal with specific organizational requirements.

Edit and View Access

Edit and View Access provides a standard way to limit who can view and edit agreements. This is especially useful if there are multiple user roles involved in rebate agreements and who may work on their individual rebate types.

Once Rebate Agreement Types have been defined in the system you can then quickly create Rebate Agreements based on these types. 

If you want to know on which rebate agreement type a rebate agreement is based, you can see it in the Rebate Agreement Type column on the Rebate Agreement list page or in the Rebate Agreement detail view on the Details panel of the Items tab. The Rebate Agreement Type column is also available in the Rebate Records table.
