Customer Configuration and Accelerators

The article provides an overview of the Customer Configuration and Accelerators tier of the Pricefx solution. This tier is comprised of two development paths: Accelerator + Customer Configuration and Customer Configuration Only. Both configurations include essential pricing and rebate management features, but the Accelerators + Customer Configuration includes additional insights and optimization tools out-of-the-box.

Key Components of Customer Configuration

• Customer Configuration is an expansion of core capabilities via two development paths. Pricefx or partner pre-sales help customers understand the best path forward based on their situation. Each capability can be assessed independently.

  • Accelerator + Customer Configuration Path

    • Start with Accelerators which are industry-agnostic configuration templates, rapidly deployed and adapted to customer needs using mainly visual UI-based configuration and technical development as necessary.

    • Generally applicable for manufacturers, distributors, and retailers with common pricing challenges.

  • Customer Configuration Only Path

    • Start with Customer Configuration which includes technical development to configure Pricefx capabilities functionality with Groovy code for an exact fit of Customer’s needs.

    • Generally applicable for Customer-specific pricing challenges, Customers with complex or legacy IT environments and business processes, or capabilities where Pricefx does not yet have an accelerator.

• All configuration lives within our Customer Configuration layer so that Customers have a seamless upgrade path to the latest Product release. Note, accelerators are not automatically upgradeable
