The prerequisites for users to start using Product Recommendations in their quotes include deploying the Product Recommendation Accelerator, defining a new Product Recommendation Model, and linking the model with Quoting. Once set up, users can add recommended items when creating quotes.

The recommended items are sorted in descending order based on their recommendation score and are displayed with their category name, indicating the type of recommendation (e.g., frequently purchased, bought together, similar products). This allows you to easily identify and select recommended items when creating quotes.

You can communicate recommendations to individual quotes through the API. The API handles the communication between the quote and the Product Recommendation model, allowing you to work with recommended products when creating quotes.

How To

1. Create a new quote and add an item.

2. After adding an item click Add Recommended Items to view recommendations that come from the Product Recommendation model (set up by an admin).

Category Name tells you the type of Product Recommendation (Frequently purchased, Bought together, Others buy, Similar products, Similar from another brand, Up-sell, Down-sell) for each recommendation.
