Context Linking in Dashboards
With the Clover Club release, new options to help you configure comments before triggering actions via context linking are available.
We will illustrate this using Quoting.
To prevent unintentional actions on documents, now you can have the option to use a confirmation dialogue. The title and other content can be configured to your preference in the logic.
Comment Dialogue
Comment dialogue is another option.
This allows you the option to add a comment before taking a specific action. This will allow users to see the comments you have made in their workflow.
Convert To Deal and Mark as Lost
These actions are implemented for Quotes. They are already displayed as options for you via context linking (in blue).
When you click on the action a comment window will appear allowing you to confirm the action straight from the dashboard.
Note: For the demo version we did not configure the window, so in our environment it still looks like a comment window.
Once you confirm, a notification message will be displayed informing you about the success of the action.
The same steps can be applied if you choose Mark as Lost.
