Compensation Plans - Condition Types Filter Logics

In this section you can define logics that will filter the values available for users in the Condition Type picker when adding items to a Compensation Plan. When users create a new Compensation Plan and start adding Condition Types, they will see only a subset of types based on the logic results. If users open an existing Compensation Plan, they will be able to see all items in the Plan but will be able to save changes if the Plan contains only items that meet the filter criteria.

The logic can have multiple elements; for the resulting filter they are joined using the AND operator. In order for the logic to be used, it must be set as Active and be valid at the time of adding the Condition Type to the Compensation Plan. For a logic example, see Agreements & Promotions - Condition Type Filter Logics.

From the Default Condition Filter Logic drop-down list, you can select one of the logics as default. This default logic will be used if there is no filter logic associated with a Compensation Type. If there is no logic marked as default and no filter logic is associated with the Compensation Type, no filter logic will be applied.

When your filter logic is ready, select it in the Filtering Logic column of the Compensation Type for which you want to do this particular filtering.
