Price Lists Overview

When you go to Price Setting > Price Lists, a page displays listing all the Price Lists that are available to you.

When no Price List is selected, there are several general options available:

  • Create a new Price List. For details see How to Create a Price List.

  • Click a Price List's ID or name to view its details or edit it.

  • Click the Status value to see the details of the calculation execution (a Jobs & Tasks table).

  • Export the list of Price Lists into Excel.

When you select a Price List, the following buttons become available below the table:

  • Duplicate the Price List. During the duplication operation you are prompted to set up the product filter – it is not copied from the original Price List, while the Price List parameters are copied (and you can still modify them).

  • Delete the Price List. Regular users can delete only non-approved Price Lists; approved Price Lists can only be deleted by users with the user role 'Administer Price Lists'.
The delete operation does not immediately remove all the line items and metadata associated with the Price List. A background job is run to wipe all these items and the whole process can take up to an hour.

  • Calculate the Price List again (it must be in the Error, Cancelled, Draft or Ready status). You can select and recalculate multiple price lists in one batch.

  • Export a Price List as XLSX, DOCX or PDF (if PDF publishing is enabled). If needed, you can restrict the export functionality to only specified user groups.

  • Create a new Revision – For details see How to Make a Price List Revision.

  • Add products to a (not approved) Price List. Select products by setting a simple or advanced filter. After adding the products, the Price List status will change to 'Pending' (it is not updated automatically but only after you click the Refresh icon).

  • Merge Price Lists. For details see How to Merge Price Lists.

  • Submit the Price List for approval. Submitted or approved Price Lists cannot be edited – you must withdraw or revoke the Price List to be able to edit it and then you must submit it again. There is a single approval process for the entire Price List, i.e., there is no separate approval process at product line level.

  • View Workflow opens the Workflow window where you can see a summary of all the approval steps.

  • Cancel calculation of Price Lists in the Pending or Processing status.

  • Revoke an already approved Price List.

  • Show definition of a Price List. A pop-up window with the Price List definition (products and input/output parameters).

  • Create a Price List summary. For details see How to Set up Price List Summary.

  • Move it to a different Categories tree folder.

The Last Updated By and Created By columns in the Price Lists table are intended for the current user to filter out only Price Lists updated/created by him/her. If the Price List was last updated or created by other user, the field is empty.
