Create a Custom Mass Action

Custom mass actions are useful when you need to manipulate data for a selection of line items. This feature gives you flexibility as in your calculation logic you can configure just about any type of data manipulation. For example, some of the products included in the LPG will be promoted only in specific regions, or discounts and the time period can differ per region.

Note: Matrix LPGs support this feature from version 9.3.

In the Mass Actions dialog, set up a filter and apply it on the Price Grid items. Then select the action that will modify the filtered items.

Create a Custom Mass Action:

1. Create a generic logic with Nature set to Parametrized Calculation Flow. This logic defines what the action will do with your data and can also define user inputs for the calculation.

2. Create a Price Setting Type and select this logic in the Custom Action Logics field.

3. Create an LPG based on this Price Setting Type. The new custom action will be available in the Mass Actions drop-down list.
