Excel Client Stops Working or Redirects to Proxy Login

In case Excel Client:

  • stopped working and reports a session expiration error, even though it was just downloaded;
    or

  • started displaying a dialog for entering a proxy login;

check the Base URL field in Pricefx Configuration in General Settings:

If there is an incorrect value, Excel Client cannot access the Pricefx server. Keep this field blank or make sure the entered value is correct.

In Excel Client, you can see the URL (in this case incorrect) at the bottom of the login dialog:
