System Requirements (Studio)

  • Operating system – Linux/Windows/MacOS. Operating system version is limited to those supported by IntelliJ and Java.

  • Java – Java 17 is recommended.

  • IntelliJ IDEA – See the release notes to learn which version of IntelliJ supported by Studio.

Important note

If you use the latest version of IntelliJ, which is not officially supported by Studio, it may not work perfectly. So unless you are a geek or you want to help Studio development team adopt the plugin to the new version quicker, you should wait with the IDEA upgrade for a week or two until Studio fully supports the new version.
