CSV, XML, SFTP & Amazon S3
The most used flow on how to transfer data from/to the customer is the usage CSV (Comma-separated values) file which is transferred via SFTP storage. Some customers use instead of SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) the Amazon S3 storage. Also, the transfer of XML files is possible. To reduce the transfer time and space on the storage system is possible to use some compressed files - ZIP, TGZ.
The transfer system/protocol has activated always the security layer (SSL, etc…) All transfers are secure. This is a reason why each integration engineer has to be familiar with these technologies or terms (for more information on each, click on the link):
