Steps to save a new preference:

  1. Modify the table view according to your needs.
  2. Click the Preferences Manager  icon.
  3. In the Preferences Manager window click the Add  icon.
  4. Set Name for your view.
  5. Decide if the view is:
    1. Default – The view is applied for the given user any time the table is opened. Only one view can be marked as Default (or two if it is in combination with the Global option).
    2. Global – The view becomes available to all users. More views can be selected here; in addition one of them can be marked as Default. To set this option, you need to have the Edit Global Preferences role.
As you select/unselect these two check-boxes, the row order changes – to reflect the priority of the views (the first view = highest priority).
The Filter check-box is read only. It is checked, if your preference contains a filter.
  6. Close the window.

Steps to update a preference:

  1. When viewing the table, select the preference in the drop-down.
  2. Modify the view.
  3. Open the Preferences Manager window.
  4. Select the preference in the list.
  5. Click the Update  icon.
The number in the Version column indicates how many times the preference was modified.
